Call for papers > Topics and Sessions

The ICCR'2 congress is poised to be an intellectually enriching ensemble, comprising six meticulously curated sessions that span a diverse array of subjects including geological sciences, biology with an emphasis on ecology and coastal marine ecosystems, geomorphology and physical geography, climate studies, littoral oceanography, coastal hydrogeology, environmental resource management, engineering, remote sensing, risk management, and Integrated Coastal Zone Management. This congress is designed to foster a fertile environment for multifaceted interactions amongst researchers hailing from various disciplines. Furthermore, it seeks to serve as a launchpad for burgeoning scholars, particularly doctoral students, by providing them with a platform to debut their research through public presentations.

Participants are cordially invited to submit proposals for oral and poster presentations. It is encouraged that the research presentations, whether oral or in poster format, encompass a wide range of research activities and outputs, including but not limited to preliminary findings, comprehensive studies, and succinct synopses of pertinent published research. The objective behind the oral and poster sessions is to facilitate the effective dissemination of research outcomes and foster dialogue amongst the scholarly community.

We extend a warm invitation for contributions that encompass any facet of coastal studies. The scope of submission is deliberately kept broad and inclusive, but not restricted to:

  • Earthquakes and Seismological Processes
  • Tsunami Dynamics and Impact
